Vintage leather may be scratched; to remove such marks, simply wipe the product with a damp soft cloth. Bags, wallets made of vintage leather over time become overwritten, acquiring a special charm.

Features of genuine leather

Leather is a natural material, therefore it does not have a uniform color palette, it can have natural «defects» (wrinkles, abrasions). This is quite natural for this material. When choosing an accessory, remember that the color palette in the product may vary by 1-2 tones from the example that you see on the site. This is due to the peculiarities of the color calibration settings of your monitor or smartphone.

Leather responds excellently to temperature changes, so leather bags, backpacks and other accessories are great for any season. It is pleasant to the touch and environmentally friendly.

Genuine skin changes its shape under physical influence, it can deform, stretch. In this regard, our products are made exactly to the size of stored things: compartments for cards in wallets and purses, cases, card holders. If the thing is sewn correctly, then in the process of use the skin will take the form of an object, otherwise the material will stretch and the contents will fall out of the accessory case.

Owners of leather things must remember that at first the accessory can color a lighter thing in places of contact, but this can last no more than two weeks. We work only with trusted manufacturers of leather, so this feature is manifested to a small extent. You can also speed up the process of mashing the skin paint yourself — rub the soft spot with a soft, dry cloth or use a paint fixative (Stop Color).

Density and thickness of the skin

The leather that we choose for the manufacture of accessories is soft elastic, smooth with a dense structure. This is the best material for sewing bags, wallets, cases and other accessories. The average thickness is 1.4-1.6 mm, but the color palette also affects the thickness, differentiation can vary between 0.1 — 0.2 mm. The most dense colors: blue, brown, red, green, the thinnest is red.

How to care for and store leather accessories

In order to remove scratches and abrasions from the surface of the product, wipe the accessory with a soft damp cloth.

To protect the accessory from rain and snow, you can use a water-repellent spray, but not on an oil basis.

To remove dirt from a leather product, you need to use a special skin cleanser or use dry cleaning services. Do not rub the skin intensively, do not use wet wipes.

Protect the item from long and regular wetting, and if this happens, wipe it dry with a soft cloth. Dry leather products with soft heat, away from heat and direct sunlight.

For long-term storage of leather products, we recommend using a special bag made of natural fabric, it is impossible to use plastic bags for this, as the color may change. To preserve the shape of the accessory, it is better to fill it with paper and put it in a dark cabinet.

Do not keep the skin in direct sunlight, near heat sources, in hot and humid rooms. This adversely affects the color and appearance of the product.
